Listen, five minutes on TikTok and I keep seeing these GORGEOUS salads. And I find myself green with envy. But who has the time to prep a salad with ingredients that you can’t even pronounce or always find in season? Listen, ya girl isn’t knocking it…but I’m busy.

Looking past the time it took to wash and chop everything, I’m about to share a game-changer recipe for a homemade salad and dressing that I’m obsessed with.
Before we get into things, let me caveat this with one simple fact: I measure with love. So if you’re looking for precision, you won’t find it here.
Ingredients for a fire salad
- Red Cabbage
- Regular Cabbage
- Brussel Sprouts
- Butter Lettuce
- Apples (I used 1/4 of a Honeycrisp)
- Beets (1/2)
It’s all in the mix
- Chop your greens
- Thinly slice your beets and apples
- Lastly you literally, like Hannah Montana want to mix it all together
Make your dressing
- Ingredients to mix
- Freshly squeezed lemon
- Red wine vinegar
