Who Is The Girl in Gucci Glasses?

Writing about yourself is weird.
You want to sound relatable, not rehearsed. Confident, not conceited. Human, not a highlight reel.

So instead of overanalyzing (which I’m very good at), let’s just get into it.

I’m Jasmine—writer, wanderer, skincare whisperer, and your not-so-typical millennial who loves a good vibe and a better metaphor. I’m probably not what you expect, and that’s kind of the point.

Whether you’re here by accident, curiosity, or on an ex-stalking mission—hi, welcome. I hope you find something here that makes you laugh, think, or feel a little less alone.

I started this blog because everyone kept asking why I didn’t have one. Apparently, having strong opinions, a good eye for designer deals, and a gift for oversharing is a niche now. So here we are.

Here’s what you should know about me:
I’m obsessed with simple luxuries, mental health advocacy, millennial pink, well-constructed sentences, and living your truth—even if it’s messy.
I was raised with Air Force discipline from my parents, and a passport that rarely stayed still. Travel is in my blood. So are concerts (all kinds), deep convos, and long walks through bookstores and beauty aisles.
I’ve got range, baby—from binge-reading The New Yorker to dancing to a setlist in a dive bar.

But let’s be real—my life hasn’t always been glossy. There have been low points. Full-on crash-and-burn moments. I don’t hide them, because I believe in showing the full picture. Not just the curated, filtered, highlight reel version of life.

This space? It’s for the full spectrum.
For laughing until your face hurts. For crying in your car. For questioning everything. For celebrating tiny wins and surviving epic flops. For growth. For glam. For grit.

If you take one thing from this page, let it be this:
Life is short. One day, you will die.
So stop playing small. Try the thing. Wear the outfit. Send the text. Take the trip. Start the blog.

This is your permission slip to be bold, be curious, and be you—loudly and without apology.

Thanks for being here. Now buckle up. Life’s got plot twists.

XO,
