With November in full swing, something I wanted to touch on is why you need to let go.
Let go of people that hurt you.
Let go of things that haven’t worked out.
Let go of anything weighing heavy on your heart.
I know I mention this subject quite regularly, but it feels especially fitting with a new month here.
You’re going to meet a lot of people in your life. And I mean a lot.
Subsequently, you’re going to have a lot of relationships — and I don’t just mean romantic ones.
Not all of these friendships, relationships or situationships will work out.
And that’s okay.
Here’s why: everyone you meet has something to teach you.
I repeat: everyone you meet has something to teach you.
It might not seem like it, when you’re going through the motions, and feeling alllll of the things, but people come into your life for a reason. And if you look carefully, often times that reason appears in the form of a lesson.
Everyone has a role in your life.
Maybe they’re here to teach you patience.
Perhaps you’re in their life to teach them something.
Whatever the case, smile because the experience happened and keep on keeping on.
If you live too far in the past, you will miss the present moment. And before you know it, it’s lights out.
Forgive. Heal. Move on.
This fall, I want you to let go.
