Dining in Dallas: Parigi

This week I had the pleasure of trying the Oaklawn staple Parigi. This neighborhood classic offers fresh, European-American fusions.

Regardless if you’re dining alone, with girlfriends, or on a business dinner – the ambiance is unmatched.

Service is also strong, with some of the friendliest and most helpful servers in this city. My favorite trait they have? If you ask for a recommendation you will get a well thought one for your current dining mood.

I skipped the starters but did indulge in the Prosecco and Seafood Pappardelle which features capers, lobster, shrimp, and crab.

Pricing is more than fair for the menu and quality of food.

And if you’re like me and get parking anxiety, then rest assured you are good! You can do valet or park nearby and walk. I opted for the latter and enjoyed the fresh air.

Okay, maybe the air was slightly humid, but it was 90° which felt better than the 103° we had been experiencing.

Before your next trip, please note that the menu does change twice a month. The reason is one that will make you love this restaurant even more. Parigi likes to partner with sustainable and local farmers and fisherman.

Parigi is located on 3311 Oak Lawn.
