As the year draws to a close, it might be easy to think about where you wanted to be. You might not end up where you wanted to be, or even where you thought you were going. Yet if one thing is certain, you will end up where you need to be.

Coming from a chronic planner, life does not care about your timeline. Anything that’s meant to happen, will. It absolutely will. And it won’t always be when you want. Reasons for why things happen aren’t always clear and sometimes we can go our entire life without knowing the reason for something happening, or subsequently not happening.

So the next time you think about your life, its timeline or what you’re living for…make sure there’s one answer in common to all of these things: you.

Just because your story is unfolding differently than anticipated, it doesn’t mean it won’t be magical.
